Main duties:
- Assist the Head of Competence Center Big Cats.
- Promoting and strengthening FOUR PAWS projects involving Big Cats.
- Conducting research on relevant topics to strengthen project work.
- Running small projects on his/her own.
- Managing project teams and ensuring communication between various departments.
- Being responsible for the delivery, maintenance and adherence to project standards.
- Coordinating inputs from other stakeholders and monitor project implementation, impact and lessons learnt.
Requirements:
- University degree in biology, veterinary medicine, applied animal behavior and welfare, applied geography, natural resource management, environmental management or natural sciences.
- Very good knowledge of and proven experience working with wild animals in captivity.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in project management, site management or logistics preferably with team leadership experience .
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and oral), German, Dutch an asset.
- Great affinity to animal welfare and FOUR PAWS values and issues.
- Independent working style and exceptional customer orientation.
- Highly motivated, hands-on, open-minded and initiative, charming and creative personality.
- Willingness and ability to travel in Germany and internationally.
