Description

We are looking for community-minded local residents who would like to help make the area round Cranbrook and Parkview Estates a more supportive and connected place to live, and who care about tackling climate change.

As a PACCT co-ordinator you will help residents learn about, explore and take climate action together, forming a new community climate action group – the Parkview and Cranbrook Climate Taskforce. You will do this by:

  • building connections with and between a wide range of residents across both estates;

  • creating a regular space (online or in person when safe) where residents can meet; share ideas and learn together about climate solutions; support each other in taking climate-friendly actions at home; and create and launch long-term community climate projects together.

You should be organised, pro-active, have some experience working in or with community groups and be able to collaborate effectively in a small team.

Ideally we want to recruit residents from Parkview and Cranbrook Estates or the immediate area, but will consider applications from people living further away if you are already connected to either estate or can demonstrate exceptional suitability.
