Coordinates the evaluation and acquisition of information, data, and management systems to support departmental managers and supervisors in carrying out their program planning, management, and decision-making responsibilities. Contributes to budget activities for the department, including planning and execution; develops cost analyses of programs and projects; and reports results and/or findings monthly to management.

Evaluates existing systems and practices related to climate protection and sustainability efforts and handles tracking and reporting of essential data.  Supports the development and implementation of activities and initiatives related to climate protect and sustainability goals.  Investigates new or improved methodologies for application in administering program activities.

Facilitates public outreach and engagement related to the climate protection and sustainability programs.

Researches and tracks related topics, trends, best practices and legislation and participates in grant-related activities.

Performs other related duties as assigned
