Our Community Engagement Apprenticeship within our newly created Climate and Ecological Emergency Unit will consist of an 18-month long opportunity to build on your organisational and communication skills and apply your ‘can-do’ attitude whilst working towards a Level 4 Public Relations and Communications Assistant qualification.
The Job:
Working in the Climate and Ecological Emergency Unit for the Council you will:
To support with providing high-level support and advice to the relevant stakeholders on the Council’s approach to community engagement, social action and consultation in the context of addressing the climate and ecological emergency.
Assist in producing reports to be presented to senior management and stakeholders.
To work with the Communications and the Coproduction Teams to ensure that the Council’s engagement is coordinated, appropriate and effective, based on the continuum of information, consultation, engagement, co-design and coproduction.
Develop professional relationships with our community stakeholders and communities to further the delivery of the Council priority of addressing the climate and ecological emergency.
