Our client an international conservation organisation is looking to fill the senior position of Climate Control Advisor for the Nairobi Kenya area.Can you work well in a team? Do you feel that you can contribute your skills to an organisation that strives to develop new interventions to conserve and protects key species? Are you hands on individual that is willing to travel in and around the African Heartlands area?Requirements:· Postgraduate (MBA, MSc or PhD) qualifications within the relevant field· 5 years relevant experience in conservation in Africa· Ability to assess conservation projects impact· Ability to engage in high level stakeholder consultation and policy analysis· Outstanding technical skills and knowledge to climate change issues· Ability to write high level reportsResponsibilities· Assess likely impact of climate change on key species and habitats· Design pilot carbon financing projects· Serve as a focal point for climate change related issues both internal and external to the organisation.Relocation costs will be paid, excellent company benefits.
