This placement provides the opportunity to work across a wide range of services, and with a wide range of local partners, to respond to the challenges of climate change. You will gain direct experience of working to the national frameworks on mitigation and adaptation, including National Indicator 188 ‘planning to adapt to climate change’; the Improvement & Developments Agency’s Sustainable Energy Benchmark and Toolkit, and the Nottingham Declaration Action Pack. The post is based in the Environment Directorate, reporting the Corporate Sustainability Manager. There will be regular contact with senior officers and elected Members.?
