Background: This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of climate change mitigation and adaptation projects with partners at County Level, linking to the regional Climate East Midlands work programme. There will be a particular focus on delivering the Climate Change Charter for Derbyshire and work on delivering the associated ‘adaptation action plan’. Supporting Local Communities, local businesses and work on our website are also key to the role. Objective: To develop, manage and deliver a number of climate change adaptation and mitigation projects in Derbyshire, including ongoing engagement with Climate East Midlands, the Regional Climate Change Partnership.
