Responsibilities will include varying facets of advanced technical assessments, verifications and reviews and technical problem solving relating to complex PDD validations, CDM/JI verifications, energy/utility industry projects in GHG inventory/baseline verifications or project verifications under voluntary /mandatory programs.
The project manager will be participating in parts or all the project management consisting on:
Marketing responsibilities:
- Acquisition of new projects (depending on level of involvement in BD)
- Elaboration of project proposals for bidding
- Once contract has been reviewed by legal and signed under the chart of authority
- Put team together that will participate in the full process
Project management phase:
- Background process: advanced technical analysis and document review.
- Follow document and office process as required by the standard
- Field work
- Project reporting
- Project review
- Ensuring payment according to contract
- Annual visits/surveys- if established by contract
- Hand in and close of project
Travel is required
Depending on level of experience, the responsibilities handled: size, difficulty of project, and disciplines involved will vary.
Principal Project managers might be involved from smaller to very large and complex projects, and might coordinate and manage a group of project managers and senior project underneath them. They will also be accountable for business development, technical review and competence development of project managers and senior project managers.
