The Government of Vanuatu through the National Advisory Committee on Climate Change (NACCC) has received financing from the Global Environment Facility (GEF) through the World Bank toward the cost of the preparation of the Vanuatu Climate Change Adaptation Project–GEF, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this Grant for consulting services. The services include detailed technical studies on climate risk management in the agriculture sector and coastal areas and the design of the specific project technical interventions.
The NACCC through the Vanuatu National Meteorological Services now invites eligible consulting firms to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Consultants may associate to enhance their qualifications.
A consultant will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers (current edition).
