The position supports initiatives of the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) in IFC that focuses on mitigating the effects of climate change through financial markets. The FIG Climate Change program works closely in conjunction to support the development of Sustainable Energy Finance at the firm level by helping FI clients to expand their climate-smart portfolios and by providing them with resources to measure the associated climate impacts.

The Specialist will be responsible to consolidate and manage the sustainability and climate metrics and strategy for investments through FIs, and provide support on portfolio and pipeline assessment from a perspective of climate eligibility and provide support where required to the regional SCF specialists and investment teams.
