Description

The intern for the Climate and Energy Team will work to build support for domestic legislation to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and promote adoption of clean energy technology. Duties include preparing communications with congressional staff as well as staff across NWF on climate change and policy solutions. The intern will be expected to learn details about legislative solutions to climate change, and to speak and write clearly about those solutions. The intern will also research and write fact sheets and articles on the impacts and solutions to climate change. Other duties include communications with coalition partners, administrative agencies, and other general advocacy activities.
