Description

The Science Technician II works directly with the Director of Science to assess and develop reports related to the potential impacts of climatic change to coastal municipalities in Long Island Sound.  This work will help to identify and advance priorities for conservation actions.  This will include all of the following:

  • Gathers and synthesizes data relating to potential climate adaptation implementation and/or activities.
  • Creates marsh migration priority conservation plans for numerous municipalities.
  • Advances and strengthens working relationships with priority municipalities for the Conservancy’s Coastal Resilience program.
