We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Climate & Energy Campaigner.

You will work to highlight the environmental and health problems of coal use, and shift China towards clean energy production. As a part of the coal team you will plan, organize and implement coal related projects, including field work, media work, research, publication production and policy analysis.

 

Position requirements:

1.Excellent spoken and written English and Chinese language ability

2.Strong project management experience, work experience in NGO:s  seen as a plus

3.Good understanding of China’s energy and climate issues, experience in coal or air pollution work seen as a plus 

4.Able to make strategic analysis and react to emerging external opportunities

5.Able to network towards stakeholders and work together in a team

6.Able to act as a spokesperson towards media and communicate technical issues into clear understandable messages

 

In addition the above requirements, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be in an advantageous position for consideration:

1.Have connections to China’s energy policy making or research circles

2.Prior NGO, political science, economics or environment science education or work experience.
