Post will require working some weekends and early mornings.Job SummaryThe cleaner is a member of the Visitor Centre Department, responsible for maintaining the 3 on-site toilet blocks and staff toilet and bathroom in a clean and hygienic state.These responsibilities will be programmed through a detailed Cleaner’s Work Plan as established by the line manager.ResponsibilitiesCore Activities as prescribed in the Cleaner’s Work Plan
To clean all the sinks, toilets and urinals on the Visitor Centre Circuit plus the staff toilet and bathroom.
To dust and wipe ledges and handles.
To refill towel and soap dispensers.
To sweep and mop floors.
To check for and remove cobwebs
To empty paper towel bins.
To inform line manager of janitorial supplies and restocking needs.

To take reasonable care of own health and safety and that of others with whom you work.
To comply with CAT’s Health and Safety Policy in all aspects of work including the controlled use of substances hazardous to health.
To comply with CAT’s policy on the use of environmental cleaning products.
To maintain a reasonable level of personal presentation including the use of staff clothing.
To provide sufficient personnel cover during the holiday season as programmed in the Cleaner’s Work Plan.
