Sao Hill Energy (SHE) is seeking a Plant Manager for its new 12 MWel CHP. SHE is a 100% owned subsidiary of Green Resources and the plant will be built at Sao Hill, Iringa, Tanzania. The bidding documents have been produced by Poyry Energy and distributed to potential suppliers. The facility will be part financed by the IFC, senior debt and by equity. The Manager must be an independent, decision oriented person, who ideally starts as soon as possible and manage the EPC selection process, the construction and building process and the in-house contribution to the building work. The Manager shall also represent the Company during the commissioning of the plant in 2010/11 and manage the plant for at least one year following start-up. The qualification of the candidate will determine the reporting structure. The position is based in Sao Hill, Tanzania. Sao Hill is located at 1,800 m altitude in pleasant surroundings with good infra-structure, 600 km SW of Dar es Salam. Dar es Salam is the main city in Tanzania, beautifully located on the Indian Ocean. The company will provide good housing facilities and competitive compensation, with an attractive bonus system linked to the performance and output.
