Chief Operations Officer (COO)

Background:

This is an executive management position reporting directly to the CEO & Executive Director, and part of the Executive Management Team (EMT).

Job Responsibilities:

• Will act as the second in command to the CEO/Executive Director
• Will be responsible for the day to day planned running of the organization
• Will be the point person to who all Head of Division (HoD’s) of the three Departments and Facilitators report to.

Essentials:

• Passion for Wildlife and Nature conservation
• Good command in both written and spoken English to liaison at an international level.
• Proven track record of managing large teams, budgets, deadlines & Govt. liaisoning
• Age between 40 to 60 years
• Work experience of more than 15-years of which more than 5-years has been at a senior management level

Desirables:

• Relevant higher degree in Wildlife Conservation and/or experience of working at senior levels in a conservation NGO or Government post.
• Proven track record in fund raising and/or brand building.
