The CFO is a key member of Solaria’s Executive Management Team, providing financial planning, analytical leadership and developing access to capital markets, including a public stock offering.
Responsibilities:
- As a member of the executive leadership of the Company, participates in key decisions pertaining to strategic initiatives, the operating model, and operational execution.
- Develops tools and systems to provide critical financial and operational information to the Executive Management Team and the Board of Directors.
- Plays key leadership role in corporate planning activities, developing and utilizing forward-looking, predictive models and activity-based financial analyses to provide insight into the Company’s operations and business plans.
- Represents the Company to financial partners including financial institutions, investors, auditors, tax advisors and public officials.
- Prepares and delivers various analyses reports and presentations required by corporate development efforts, including working with the Executive team to develop andclose government incentive finance.
- Oversees long-term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with Company’s strategic plan.
- Assesses organizational performance against annual budget and long-term strategy goals.
- Oversees cash, investment, and asset management.
- Oversees the preparation and maintenance of regular financial planning reports such as P&L and cash flow forecasts and manages the preparation and communication of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensures that appropriate controls and financial procedures are in place across the Company and consistently enforced and that all financial functions are performed in compliance with current legal and regulatory guidelines.
- Oversees finance, accounting, legal, tax planning and IT functions for the Company.
- Directly oversees finance, accounting, and IT personnel; developing and mentoring his/her direct team, and managing work allocation, training, problem resolution, and performance evaluation.
- Carries out other responsibilities, as required.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field required, Masters degree preferred. CPA/SOX experience a plus.
- 10+ years experience in senior level finance positions, preferably in a manufacturing environment. And experience obtaining government incentive finance a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead wide range of financial transactions for the Company, preferably including IPO and or M&A transactions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Passion for solar is a plus.
