We are currently seeking to appoint an outstanding and distinctive leader as Chief Executive of WWF-UK, a key member of the international network with over 500,000 supporters, an annual income exceeding £60m and over 300 staff. The new Chief Executive will build on our significant achievements to date and drive the organisation forward at a critical time for nature, climate change and sustainability. Reporting to the Board of Trustees, the Chief Executive will be responsible for bringing vision, inspiration, and leadership; including raising funds, campaigning and lobbying those in power for change, and building a strong profile. S/he will be a compelling ambassador for WWF-UK. S/he will play a key role as part of the global WWF network, including as an ex officio member of the Network Executive Team which is the main executive body responsible for managing the network.

This role offers a unique challenge for an individual with a genuine passion to create solutions to the most important environmental challenges facing the planet. You will demonstrate the skills and experience needed to strategically lead and manage a complex international organisation. You will have strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to build strong relationships across a complex stakeholder map including government, business, civil society and the wider WWF network. You will have well-rounded professional competence with the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and represent the organisation externally. Inspiring, visionary and engaging with strong diplomatic skills and sound judgement, you will encourage collaborative and transparent working relationships.
