Chief Executive, East Asian – Australasian Flyway Partnership Secretariat (South Korea)

The East Asian – Australasian Flyway Partnership (EAAFP) is inviting applications for the position of Chief Executive to lead the Secretariat in Incheon, Republic of Korea (open until 30 November 2011 or until the position is filled).

The Partnership has been formed to promote dialogue and collaboration for the conservation of migratory waterbirds and their habitats across the East Asian - Australasian Flyway. It is a voluntary initiative - currently with 26 partners including; 14 countries within the Flyway, 3 intergovernmental agencies and 9 international non-government organizations. The Secretariat, led by the Chief Executive, is to facilitate communication and coordination of the Partnership and assist Partners to develop and implement collaborative activities across the Flyway. We are looking for an experienced team leader who can work and communicate effectively with a wide range of international stakeholders. The successful applicant will have the experience and confidence needed to work closely with governments, intergovernmental organizations, international NGOs and the corporate sector.
