We are really excited to announce this unique opportunity for an inspiring leader, with senior management experience, presence and standing, to become our first Chief Executive.  Wild Oxfordshire is a small charity with a proud, twenty year record of leading partnership for biodiversity under its old name Oxfordshire Nature Conservation Forum  www.oncf.org.uk .  As the Local Nature Partnership we have a unique opportunity to work with the Local Enterprise Partnership and local government, to shape economic and spatial plans for the county.  We need to increase capacity in the organisation to engage new partners in the business and government sectors and achieve the significant gains for nature that these new relationships enable.

In addition to a passion for the environment, the successful candidate will display strong people skills and the ability to communicate. They will be comfortable working through  influence, personal authority and persuasion. They will have demonstrated the ability to give strategic leadership, manage and shape an organisation.
