We seek a dynamic, science-savvy, education-driven performer to deliver ACE multimedia presentations on climate change to high school students in Chicago and the surrounding areas (Check out our trailer to get a taste of our presentation).  You’ll be in the field with high school students, communicating the essential science of climate change in a lively, fun and unforgettable way.  After each presentation, you’ll be working with youth to create ACE Action Teams that work on a variety of climate change projects, from recycling and composting programs to organizing green proms.   We also need a power-networker to build partnerships with schools, nonprofits, media reporters and prospective funders.

Our Educators work from home when they’re not giving presentations, meet about once per week with the local team, and convene occasionally with other regional teams.  We require a self-starter who is able and willing to work independently.

The Organization:

The national leader in high school climate education, ACE delivers award-winning multimedia assemblies on climate science and solutions to high schools nationwide—with more than 830,000 high school students served in two years.  After the ACE Assembly, we help students to kick-start Action Teams and take on carbon-cutting projects, anything from completing an energy audit to bringing renewable energy to their school.

We’re a young, dynamic nonprofit organization, excelling in the ability to make this complex subject relevant, interesting and fun.  We’re data-centric and tech-savvy, nimble and creative, passionate and results-oriented.  We have a resident Fun Team and an impressive professional development process.

We want to help great people get greater—and make ACE terrific.  For more, please visit: http://acespace.org.
