This education and community-based program is designed to make as many people as possible aware of the plight of the cheetah and to campaign for its survival. The facility houses eleven cheetahs and extends over five hectares. The daily duties of volunteers include greeting visitors at the facility and informing them about the project and the cheetah in general, food preparation, cleaning, and taking care of the resident dogs. The work will also sometimes involve general maintenance activities. Volunteers must be outgoing, confident and enthusiastic.
Accommodation and food is provided at a volunteer house close to the cheetah facility. A small deposit is required to stay at the house which is mostly refunded at the end of your stay.
