We are looking for a passionate and talented Channel Sales Account Manager ready to join our expanding channel sales team.

You will be given a high level of responsibility and a high degree of autonomy to create success. This position will be based in Hawaii.

What you will do?

You will manage SunRun’s partners throughout the Hawaii market. You will play a major role in growing and expanding your territory. You are a self-motivated, results-oriented strategic thinker who is comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment; is capable of harvesting new relationships and developing existing relationships with our partners and has the talent to influence high performing sales teams.

You will be confident and extremely adept at working with and influencing C-level management; skilled at developing and executing strategic plans with sales management teams; and able to motivate and support highly successful sales professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent SunRun in all communications and training of assigned partners in the Hawaii market.
  • Own, and responsibility achieve, monthly, quarterly and yearly sales quotas for assigned Partners.
  • Build, manage and support Channel Partners’ sales expertise and sales volume.
  • Develop SunRun product expertise, along with strong knowledge of solar / energy industry.
  • Knowledge of and experience with a broad spectrum of sales methodologies and practices.
  • Interact with SunRun customers, providing them with product and contract information
  • Deal processing, commission tracking and problem resolution

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA and 5 years of related sales and account management experience
  • Experience working with Channel partners or VARs will be highly valued
  • Expert in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce.com.
  • Excellent analytical skills with knowledge of finance/business concepts (ROI, NPV, Payback)
  • Track record of training, motivating and managing a quota for sales personnel
  • Experience in business to consumer selling environments is a definite advantage
  • Must be comfortable with deadlines and weekly sales forecasting
  • Must be able to travel 15-20% domestic travel within assigned area
