We are seeking a highly motivated individual with experience of the food industry, ideally including a good understanding of the principles of organic food and farming, and certification processes.

You will be responsible for the effective account management of a portfolio of businesses with a diverse range of organic processing systems, including our key organic manufacturers.  You will be answering enquiries relating to their certification, will assess inspection reports submitted and make recommendations about certification. The role will include an emphasis on scheme development and more technical work.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent experience, ideally in food technology, be an excellent relationship builder, be highly organised and have an awareness of the commercial demands on food business’.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer literacy and a confident approach to service delivery and the ability to provide solutions within tight deadlines are essential.
