BirdLife International is the world’s largest nature conservation partnership. Through our unique local-to-global approach, we deliver high impact and long-term conservation for the benefit of nature and people.
BirdLife is seeking to recruit an experienced individual for the position of Nigeria/Cameroon Sub-Regional Project Officer to promote stakeholder engagement and ensure successful implementation of the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF)’s Guinean Forests of West Africa Biodiversity Hotspot Regional Implementation Team (GFWA RIT). An overarching aim of the investment is to build a broad constituency of civil society groups working across institutional and political boundaries, toward achieving the shared conservation goals identified for the hotspot.
The Nigeria/Cameroon Sub-Regional Project Officer will be an integral member of the RIT, with four main duties consisting in:
1. Act as the RIT Focal person in both Cameroon and Nigeria
