BTCV Enterprises is a leading provider of recruitment and employment focussed training.

We are currently seeking to recruit a Centre Manager to provide management of the Barrow-in-Furness Centre in terms of resources, operations, activities and systems in accordance with the contracts running at the time.

Responsibilities will include:
- To manage local resources including vehicles, finances and premises and all aspects of that centre, appropriate to the needs of the smooth running of the centre.
- Maintain a detailed overview and direct influence on staff performance in terms of starts, retention, output and achievement rates.
- Contribute to Human Resource planning, including recruitment, holidays, induction, support, supervision and review, helping to develop staff to ensure goals are achieved and the Investor in People status is maintained. 
- Offer localised, ‘hands on’ and day to day input into delivery as necessary.
- Liaise closely with the Operations Manager to ensure the centre is being managed in an appropriate way in order to ensure compliance and maximum viability.

The ideal candidate will have experience of managing and supporting staff, including team building, motivation and managing performance in order to achieve targets within an agreed timescale. A good working knowledge of employment and further education policies and systems would be beneficial as well as experience of managing and promoting employment and learning programmes. You will have good communication and IT Skills, with the ability to prioritise and organise effectively. The ability to delivery presentations is desirable as well as the ability to generate detailed and extensive funding proposals, letters and reports would be of advantage.

A full driving licence is required as the post holder will have use of a company vehicle and will need to travel to other centres as and when required for meetings.

37.5 hours per week.
