Description
  1. Research: Conduct general Marketing & Communications (M&C) research on best practices and opportunities, case studies supporting M&C work at the project level, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) guidelines and tips, engagement techniques, etc. 
  2. Measurement & Evaluation: (1) Provide support in field testing messages and materials, rolling out baseline behaviors, attitudes and perceptions survey among NPCA staff and transforming data analysis into a baseline survey. This would include conducting simple statistical analysis such as computations, generating pivot tables, formatting graphs and charts and summarizing findings; (2) Update and maintain the M&C activity and expense tracking sheet on SharePoint. 
  3. Branding & Identity: Update the branding & identity guide on an as-needed basis.
  4. Graphic Design & Material Development Support: Coordinate basic edits with designer, make revisions to Word, PowerPoint and vector files, coordinate printing logistics with vendor, assist in the development and design of graphic elements for reports, brochures and fact sheets.
  5. Meeting & Event Preparation: Identify relevant events and log pertinent information in the event and meeting tracker on ParkPoint; prepare materials and coordinate logistics; research and identify potential speakers/facilitators for CPM-supported events.
  6. Editing & Proofreading: Provide support in editing and proofreading M&C-related documents, presentations and reports. 
  7. Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support (filing, organizing, coordinating logistics) for the M&C Team and Senior Team Coordinator position. 
Qualifications/Requirements (i.e., education, technical skills):

 
Presuming a degree in Marketing and Communication, social marketing, business or related field. Junior, senior or graduate level. Research and written and oral communication skills. Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple projects. Critical and strategic thinking skills, team player.

Contribute to outcomes including:
  • Improvements to CPM webpage, increased use among target audiences
  • Creation of various types of collateral materials, including brochures, fact sheets, video clips.
  • Implementation of measurement and evaluation system for marketing and communications activities.
