We at Perspectives are currently seeking highly motivated, skilled and communicative individuals to strengthen and expand our CDM/JI Consultancy team in Zurich or Hamburg.

Job description: The tasks of the employee encompass CDM/JI Management, CDM/JI methodology development and CDM/JI risk assessment activities. Specifically, this includes for example: preparation of CDM/JI feasibility studies, managing CDM/JI projects through the project cycle at the UNFCCC (PDD writing, additionality demonstration, monitoring plans, etc), preparation of CDM/JI baseline and monitoring methodologies for calculation of greenhouse gas emissions reductions for new CDM/JI project types (for example in the areas of energy supply, industrial processes and agriculture), communication with clients, certification bodies and CDM technical advisory groups at the UNFCCC, evaluation of CDM/JI project ideas (PIN/PDD stage) in terms of likelihood of registration/CER generation as well as realistic project start date based on UNFCCC regulatory framework and project information (“risk assessment” or “due diligence”), CDM capacity building activities.
Your Profile: You are a technically skilled personality with an engineering background and substantial experiences (at least 1-2 years) in the field of CDM/JI. You have excellent English writing and talking skills and like to work in a team as well as independently. Furthermore, you are a self-motivated, creative and solution-focused personality with a strong dedication to work in an international and dynamic business context. You know how to handle projects and have sales experiences. As an optimal candidate you speak either Spanish or French.
