Our client, one of the global leaders within the renewable energy development, sustainability and CDM project sectors is currently seeking two experienced CDM Project Managers to help them deliver upon an existing pipeline of business. Both positions are to be based in the Middle East and have the associated benefits of tax free remuneration and a generous expatriate package (business class flights, family health, tax free loans etc). You will join an established development team comprised of a number of leading CDM professionals. Key responsibilities will include: – Development and implementation of CDM and carbon emission reduction projects in the Middle East and Africa region. – Managing the coordination with project management and contractor companies on specific projects. Existing projects with the areas of energy efficiency; gas flare reduction & power upgrade. – Full responsibility for project implementation & delivery including manpower & technology sourcing during engineering & construction phase. – Implementation of related technical input for origination teams. – Leading, directing and coordination of the project contractors to deliver the specific requirements of a particular project stage working where appropriate. – Formulating and organising sophisticated project strategies the success of which will have significant effects globally. – Minimising and managing both exposure and risk on key projects Desired Experience and Academics: – Minimum of 10 years experience in project engineering / project management in the Oil & Gas or Power Industry – Minimum of 5 years as a project manager – Demonstrated knowledge of project planning, structuring and finance – Emissions reduction or energy efficiency experiences (is a plus) – Working knowledge in carbon reduction projects under the Kyoto protocol CDM – Experienced in working in a multi-cultural workforce – Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Sciences or equivalent; MBA preferred Contact: john@carbonjobs.com.au |
