CDM Monitoring and Risk Assessment Manager, Beijing, China

My client is a global leader in the management of projects leading to the reduction to greenhouse gas emissions. They are currently seeking a CDM (Clean Development Mechanism) Monitoring and Risk Assessment Manager to join their rapidly growing company.

Responsibilities:

• You will be heavily involved in the project assessment service and PDD (Project Design Document) review service
• Conduct risk assessments for Enecore’s existing project portfolio as well as new and potential projects.
• Ensure that Enecore’s CDM projects are to the highest standard and quality
• Perform on-site audits
• Manage and review the work of CDM project development staff with the aim to minimise the validation and registration risk.
• Evaluate and improve existing risk assessment procedures.

Requirements:

• Must have extensive knowledge of UNFCCC and Kyoto Protocol frameworks
  • Master Degree or Higher Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Economics or other technically related disciplines
  • Fluency in Chinese and English to native level
  • 3-5 years experience in the CDM space at management or auditing level.
  • Must be able to work individually without supervision and as part of a team.
  • Extensive knowledge of the CDM process covering from origination to validation and verification.
