The CCS Policy Officer will be based in London and cover a maternity gap for a 6 - 12 month duration commencing in December 2010. The CCS Policy Officer will focus on representing the interests of the association's members to government and regulators in London and Brussels and in influencing regulatory policy. The CCS Policy Officer will engage in events, consultations and publications. There will also be a requirement to deal with members and develop consensus positions.
Who we're looking for
The CCS Policy Officer will be based in London and will be:
• Knowledgeable in Carbon Capture and Storage.
• Confident in developing policy.
• Knowledgeable in the architecture of government and regulation for energy or climate change policy in the UK or EU.
• Confident in dealing with members and reconciling diverse viewpoints to a common consensus
