The Company
Sungevity was founded by a strong team that brings together successful start-up experience, environmental activism, and solar industry leadership. Driven by a passion to help spread solar globally, and a frustration with the manual and costly process of selling residential solar solutions in the existing cottage industry, Sungevity created a unique online platform to make it easy and affordable for homeowners to research, buy and install solar systems. Sungevity's early success and growth in the Bay Area has proven the power of this approach and the viability of the platform. Now, Sungevity is increasing the scale and speed of delivering on the mission of spreading solar and thwarting climate change by expanding our footprint across the United States.

Culture
Sungevity is an fast-growing organization that strives for utmost efficiency and SFUN (Solar for Universal Need). We share a passion for solar as a critical wedge to solve the crisis of climate change. We take enormous pride in our unique offering in the solar industry. Our values are to put the customer first with practical, simple, creative solar solutions. Our signature as a team is that we strive to be collaborative, unpretentious, and driven.

The Position
The Customer Care Project Manager (PM) serves as the customer advocate post-sale through the completion of the customer’s solar installation and interconnection to the grid. The PM is the primary point of contact for the customer throughout this process and has a hands-on role in working with Sales, Design & Engineering, Rebate & Interconnection, Contract Management and Field Managers to ensure that the customer’s project proceeds quickly and efficiently. The role involves high project volume with short timelines. The PM is required to stay abreast of changes concerning internal business processes, contract revisions, and rebate levels, as well as to convey the changes to customers as necessary. There is a sales aspect to the PM role in the event that, because of system design or other changes, a customer’s signature must be secured on an updated contract. The PMs is also a day-to-day liaison with our Sungevity Preferred Installers, providing them the necessary scheduling, installation documents, and forecasts. This role is fast-paced, high-volume, intense, and critical to our mission to scale our efforts across the US and to bring solar into the mainstream.
