Description

The Visitor Centre at Thorndon Country Park has ancient woodland, parkland, ponds, marshes and meadows.  The park attracts huge numbers of people who use the extensive network of footpaths to enjoy walking, cycling and running.  Thorndon has always been one of our busiest Centre’s, but with the introduction of the Gruffalo trail it is busier than ever.

The ideal candidate will be a positive person that enjoys providing a welcoming visitor experience, thrives in a busy customer facing environment and enjoys a challenge. We are looking for a team player who has a catering background. Food hygiene qualifications are also desirable.

Please note this role will require regular weekend working, usually alternate weekends, as part of a rota.

Working Hours:         15 hours per week
