Carbon Projects Analyst

Climate Connect Limited is a London and Delhi based company established in May 2010 providing solutions in the carbon and energy sector

The Role: The company is looking for an analyst, who will work on global CDM/VCS/GS/California projects being developed by Climate Connect’s clients. The candidate will be required to prepare PDDs for projects across the globe and manage the entire registration and issuance cycle. Candidate will be required to collect and analyze all of the necessary data for successful project registration and issuance. The role will involve speaking regularly to US and European companies to manage the project cycle. The candidate will report to the Head of Project Development.  

Required: Ideal candidate should

-          Be highly numerate

-          Fluent in English language to communicate with US clients

-          Posses excellent report writing skills

-          Excellent MS Excel skills

-          Have prior knowledge CDM/VCS/GS procedures(a must). Ideally, the candidate would have participated in successful registration and issuance of at least one carbon project

-          Have preferably between 0-2 years of work experience on carbon projects

-          Have ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure (a must)

-          Have knowledge of India’s energy sector (desirable) 

-          Be a self starter (desirable)

Qualification: Bachelor’s  in a technical subject, preferably engineering/energy/environment, from a reputed university. Master’s preferred.

Location: The role will be based in Delhi. Candidate should be ready for occasional travel, both across India and overseas.
