Carbon market specialist, Australia, $Highly Competitive 

A leading carbon trading company is looking to expand its operations into Australia and is looking for a candidate with strong knowledge and understanding of the Australian carbon market to help spearhead this operation.

Responsibilities of this role will include:

·         Providing feedback to the board of directors on the changes in the regulatory framework for Australia relating to carbon emission reduction requirements

·         Speaking to clients at a senior (CEO or COO) level

·         Originating new business through your own contacts and coming up with innovative business ideas

·         Building up the team

Candidates must have:

·         A detailed knowledge of the Australian voluntary carbon market

·         A strong understanding of the Australian Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme

·         Proven experience in AAU transactions
