Greenpeace is an independent not for profit environmental organisation that campaigns on ways to stop environmental abuse, and promote solutions that are essential to a green and peaceful future. As Greenpeace has a policy of not soliciting funds from corporations or governments, we are reliant on the support of like-minded individuals to assist us in our environmental campaigns. We are currently looking for a self-motivated and dedicated Campaigns Intern with strong analytical skills to assist the Head of Campaigns. This position will involve working on research projects focused on the impact of social and environmental justice in Australia. If you are passionate about the environment and would like to learn more about the role of Greenpeace, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. In this role you will gain valuable experience in the not for profit and environmental activism sector while developing your research and analytical skills in a supportive and fast paced working environment. To be successful, you must be available to work 2-5 days per week for a minimum period of 8 weeks. We are also happy to be flexible around your university schedule. While the majority of the internship takes place during business hours (9am–5pm, Mon–Fri), you may also be required to occasionally work outside of these hours. We highly value the time and effort dedicated by our interns and volunteers, as they continue to support us on our environmental endeavors. Key Duties and Responsibilities Research on the following:
