What will you do......?

You will independently lead the development of the Stop Nuclear Campaign Project. You will develop a long term strategy on how Greenpeace can stall and prevent nuclear approvals and stem their expansion in India. Your first year on the job will primarily involve research and analysis on key stakeholders and their position, developing strategies and tactics and roles for the organization around this debate. You will then move on to actually implementing the campaign project.

 

Who we are looking for.....

 

We are seeking applications from individuals, who have strong journalistic skills and are well-informed about the nuclear debate in India. Whilst they might not have campaigning experience per se, they have strategic and analytical ability to use changes in relevant scientific, political, economic, industry, media and social circles to identify strategic opportunities for the campaign.

In addition to the above, some of the job requirements are:

  - enthusiasm and motivation to work on the issue and campaign to achieve change

  - be willing to challenge powerful governments and corporations

  - excellent communication skills to write, present and negotiate

  - commitment to Greenpeace campaigns and values and belief in the power of peaceful direct action to achieve change
