Implementation and development of ADI and NAVS campaigns, nationally and internationally; lobbying and public awareness activities; campaign research, writing; development of campaign materials; key messages; internal and external briefings; demanding environment.
Scope of work and duties include:
- To implement and develop ADI and NAVS campaign plans, as directed.
- Co-ordinates worldwide campaign presence.
- Organises and executes lobbying and public awareness activities.
- Communication of campaign information, internally and externally.
- Assists with development and production of campaign materials.
- Organisation of legal and scientific research for campaigns.
- Works in close co-operation with political and research staff, worldwide.
- Co-ordinates campaign input from other staff.
- Representation of ADI and NAVS as directed.
- Liaison with external agencies, e.g. printers, couriers.
- Administrative duties, and general office assistance, as necessary.
Qualifications and Qualities:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- This role would suit a candidate with a legal or political background.
- Minimum of one year working in a similar role.
- Knowledge of the subject and underpinning science.
- Proven communication skills – written, oral, and presentation.
- Good organisation, time management, and IT/internet skills.
- Flexible, positive approach to work; responds well to demanding environment.
- Team player, supportive of others.
- Self-motivated, clear commitment to aims and objectives of ADI and NAVS.
- Vegetarian preferred.
