Description

WildAid is seeking a Campaign Research Intern for our San Francisco office. Intern work hours are typically 10 am to 4 pm Monday through Thursday. Hours within this timeframe are flexible, however, a minimum of twelve hours per week is preferred.

Intern will be responsible for: 

  • Assisting Wildlife Campaigner with research surrounding the illegal wildlife trade including: current wildlife population statistics, trends in markets and pricing, existing and new legislation, and identifying shifts in demand for illegal wildlife products
  • Creating and regularly updating research database which will remain as a reference point and toolkit for all staff
  • Staying abreast of market trends and shifts in illegal wildlife product demand
  • Researching and identifying new campaign opportunities
  • Assembling and organizing PDF reports and scientific studies into one, easily referenced database
  • Program research for WildAid's elephant, rhinoceros, and shark programs with the potential for additional opportunities
