World Animal Protection, one of the world’s largest international animal welfare organizations, has an exciting opportunity for a tactical thinker and persuasive communicator to join our team as the North American Campaign Manager for Humane and Sustainable Farming. We want to see a world where every farm – small, medium or large-scale – is designed around the welfare needs of animals. Our strategy seeks to dramatically change current practice in developed intensive farming systems and promote animal welfare friendly solutions, so that the experience of animals farmed for food is transformed to give them good lives.
THE POSITION
The Campaign Manager is responsible for building awareness, understanding and action in North America for World Animal Protection’s global Humane and Sustainable Farming program. This position will help catalyze an increase in corporate and public support to help improve the lives of farm animals. You will use the power of consumers as a key tactic to encourage corporate change and will be responsible for planning and implementing public facing campaigns that inspire businesses to act in support of higher animal welfare farming practices.
We’re looking for someone with a proven track record of leading campaigns that stand out, and of working effectively with teams across the world to build and deliver social change. We need a positive, self-starter who can motivate and inspire using their expertise in dynamic and creative campaigning.
