This project is looking for a camp and research administrator. Responsibilities include organizing the work schedules of local field assistants, organizing food and other supplies, maintenance of camp infrastructure, communication with project office and with local villages, supporting researchers and other visitors to the field site such as film crews and journalists. Candidates must have field experience plus English and French language skills. The position is available this autumn for a period of 12 months (application deadline: 30th September, 2013).
The camp manager receives free accommodation and food, a 700 Euro per month salary, one domestic return flight, a contribution of 800 Euro towards an international return flight and reimbursement of visa expenses.
