The Business Environment Partnership (BEP) is an organisation that has a proven track record of working with Scottish SMEs to improve their environmental management and achieve real business benefits. We are currently looking for a business advisor to join our existing staff currently delivering business assistance in the West of Scotland. The post-holder will be responsible for:
* Encouraging and recruiting businesses to participate in the various Business Environment Partnership (BEP) projects through both direct approaches, attending networking events and liaising with other business advisers / staff working with our partner agencies; * Delivering environmental audits and bespoke consultancy projects to businesses throughout the West of Scotland and assisting clients to implement the recommendations of the audits; * Making an active contribution to the continued success & development of the BEP. Successful candidates will be self-motivated with excellent communication skills. They should possess the following: * A degree in an environmental or related subject; * Experience working with businesses in an advisory capacity and with environmental auditing skills; * A full clean UK driving licence with own transport is essential as extensive travel is required within the job. |
