Business Engagement Co-ordinator (part-time 80%) - Clean Air Project

The Business Engagement Co-ordinator is an exciting new role at ClientEarth. You will lead the Clean Air team’s business engagement project in London, working with business on how they can contribute to improving air quality in the capital and help make London become a leader in the clean, green technologies of the future. The Business Engagement Co-ordinator will be part of ClientEarth’s successful Clean Air team, which has been working on air pollution issues in London for over 5 years.

The policy solutions to solving our clean air crisis should benefit business. If we are to clean up our air we need to encourage both a residential and a commercial behavioural shift towards greener ways of getting around or doing business. This would not only benefit human health but also create economic opportunities for businesses that develop the new products and services we will need to succeed. We want to build business support for this shift and to help make London become a world leader in sustainable urban transport.     

The successful candidate will be highly organised, efficient and able to handle a number of competing priorities. You will need a proven experience of working with business as well as a commitment to environmental issues. You will need strong presentational skills with high standards of oral and written fluency and the ability to present complex information and concepts in simple and persuasive briefings and media statements.

This is a part-time position, equivalent to 80% of full-time.

Salary

Salary for this role is circa £32,000 per annum pro-rata, depending on experience.
