Description

Field Studies Council (FSC) offers opportunities for people to engage with the outdoors and wants to inspire people to be passionate about the environment. FSC is also one of the UK’s leading publishers of wildlife guides. We started 40 years ago and now distribute hundreds of thousands of guide each year.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the FSC's Publications team. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to expand our sales to trade (B2B) customers.

You will find opportunities with new traders, effectively manage enquiries from trade customers and provide a high level of customer service to meet customers’ needs. You will increase the number of trade customers and gain a greater understanding of our traders' needs.

We’re looking for someone with 2 years or more relevant experience, including evidence of success with building successful client relationships to meet commercial goals; as well as proven success in building external partnerships/relationships with retailers - both physical retail outlets (e.g. visitor attractions and garden centres) and online retailers.

The successful candidate will also have experience of using systems to record and manage customer relationships and ideally, an interest in biodiversity and wildlife identification.

Key to this appointment will be a flexible approach and willingness to adapt to changes, along with a positive attitude. Please refer to the job description for full details of the responsibilities of the role.
