Community Energy, Inc., a leading renewable energy developer and marketer, is currently seeking highly motivated candidates for a full-time Business Development Manager, to be based in the company headquarters in Radnor, PA.  The position will report directly to the VP, Sales and Marketing.  www.communityenergyinc.com  

The ideal candidate is a self-driven, experienced individual looking to advance with a leading renewable energy company.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Develop new markets and business relationships under direction of Vice President, Sales & Marketing in retail green power markets.
  • Originate new business and commercialize opportunities to meet retail division plan goals, including meeting with prospective clients and partners and managing retail division projects.
  • Market research, product research, competitive research leading to actionable recommendations and marketing plans on new opportunities and markets.
  • Manage policy and regulatory issues related to current and prospective business lines.

 Ideal candidates will possess the following:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, or Business.
  • Minimum five years applicable professional experience
  • Professional presence and ease in public roles; strong communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet assigned deadlines
  • Ability to think creatively, devise alternate approaches to challenges and improve upon existing processes
  • Ability to perform at a high level with significant autonomy and maintain flexibility for changes in focus given market conditions
  • Goal-oriented performance philosophy; ability to manage to the goal and maintain priorities

Working knowledge of, and enthusiasm for, the renewable energy industry is preferred.
