Business Development Manager – Windfarms/Electrical/HV/Renewable Energy

Home Based role, UK – this role involves considerable nationwide travel .

Ideally the successful candidate will live in the Midlands or the North due to the locations of sites being visited.  The role will cover a number of sites these will include Leeds, Reading, Bristol, Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester.

Our client is looking for and experienced Business Development Manager to build their brand, win places on tender lists and aid with the expansion of this young and exciting company.  They currently turnover £25 million + and employ over 100 people across the UK and are going through an exciting period of continued growth.

Our client are an Electrical firm who work in high voltage and infrastructure projects, they construct, design and supply solutions for firms throughout the UK and Ireland.  They work on overhead lines, substations, renewable HV projects, grid services, infrastructure advice, and transmission and distribution.

Candidates must come from a similar background and should have experience in one of the following areas: High Voltage work, Windfarm development, Electrical Utility, Substations , grid, Windfarm/electrical consultancy, private electrical firms (HV) or similar.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate:

- Proven track record in business development

- Self motivation

- Excellent communication skills

- Willing to travel as required
