Business Development Manager x2 Permanent

Our B2B Energy Services team play the pivotal role in ensuring that we accomplish our sustainability commitments to our business customers. Due to the unprecedented growth of the team we are currently looking for Business Development Managers will be responsible for active promotion of energy efficiency and low carbon products, services and solutions to B2B customers. They will be key to expanding EDF Energy?s complex energy efficiency services to the B2B customers so they could significantly reduce their carbon emissions. This is a busy and challenging role and will require individuals who will be able to understand the needs of business customers of various sizes, will be comfortable with presenting to senior level audience in order to influence their decisions and buy into the innovative Energy Service Solutions EDF Energy can offer. Business Development Managers will be based in London but there will be some travel involved to the client offices and some international exposure to the sales teams across the EDF Group. The successful candidates: ·Will be educated to degree level (or will be able to demonstrate relevant job experience) ·Should demonstrate a proven track record in selling and managing complex contracts within the B2B market ·Will have experience of structuring commercial propositions exceeding £1 million in value ·Will have proven experience in communicating and influencing at the board level ·Will be able to juggle a number of commercial propositions at any given time (worth several £million in value) ·Ideally will have knowledge of the Energy Efficiency market and surrounding legislation in the UK In return for your commitment, EDF Energy will provide a competitive remuneration package, final salary pension plan, annual bonus and a variety of benefits to support your work-life balance.
