Description

My client is one of the leading manufactures of large scale onshore and offshore wind turbines. They are major players in the wind turbine market. They have a solid and well respected reputation that has ensured that they secured their place in the industry on an international level. As the market continues to grow they intend to continue to expand their market share and develop their product so that it remains a competitive and revolutionary product.

 

Position Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing strong client relationships as well as closing sales contracts within their region.

 

Responsibilities:

  • ·         Build relationships and establish networks with clients
  • ·         Closing sales contracts
  • ·         Attending trade fairs within the wind industry
  • ·         Manage commercial targets for megawatts of sales within a specific geographic region
  • ·         Ensuring customers  meet contractual obligations
  • ·         Producing annual, monthly and weekly reports to senior management

 

Education:

Strong Bachelors level degree or above in a relevant subject

 

Core Requirements:-

  • ·         Minimum of 3 years relevant working  experience within the wind sector
  • ·         Proven ability to deliver and exceed sales targets
  • ·         Outstanding written and oral skills
  • ·         Ability to develop strong business leads and a sales pipeline through cold calling
  • ·         Evidence of networking and business development skills

 

General Requirements:-

  • ·         In depth knowledge of the wind industry
  • ·         Strong commercial awareness
  • ·         Strong team player
  • ·         Outstanding communication and persuasive ability

 

Key Skills:

  • ·         Wind industry, business Development, sales experience, deep knowledge of the on & offshore wind turbine market.
