As Business Development Manager - Carbon Emission Derivatives you will be responsible for actively managing and supporting the Eurex customer portfolio trading carbon emission markets. In addition, you will be assigned a geographic region where you will be required to analyze and identify market potential, build relationships with and recruit new Eurex clients. You will also be asked to develop sales concepts for existing and new Eurex and EEX products and coordinate the assigned sales activities in the U.S. in close cooperation with other Eurex business departments.

Your responsibilities
 Manage the relationships with a number of allocated Eurex customers and drive client acquisition efforts predominantly in the field of carbon emission derivatives
 Design and execute sales activities including calling and visiting programs and relationship building activities designed to expand and retain Eurex#s customer base
 Produce marketing and sales collateral; give presentations and/or training sessions for traders, IT staff, back office staff etc. on new and existing Eurex and EEX products, functionalities and technology
 Act as a liaison between the U.S. customer base and other Eurex departments such as Product Strategy, Market Supervision, Customer Support, Operations, IT and Marketing
 Represent Eurex and promote Eurex and EEX products and services at conferences
 Analyze the market potential for existing and new Eurex and EEX products and functionalities and present to the U.S. management

Our requirements

 At least 5 years of successful client-facing sales experience in the futures, securities or financial services industry
 Established relationships with financial institutions active in the energy/emission markets. Good contacts with energy companies are a plus
 Know how of emission and energy derivatives products and markets and good understanding of the business motivations of several types of market participants (brokers, hedge funds, utilities, project developers etc.)
 Good understanding of the global financial derivatives and markets is a plus
 Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
 Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
 Highly motivated, team oriented and flexible
