Business Development Intern

CCC is revolutionizing the way how small businesses and individuals can be a part of the solution as the world tries to combat climate change. CCC is seeking a motivated and self-driven intern to participate in business development, marketing and sales activities of its business development team in New York.

The intern will be responsible for the following:

• Business research, development and execution
• Supporting implementation of new business strategies
• Marketing sustainability projects via various mediums including social media
• Managing partner/client engagements and relationships
• Evaluating strategies for reaching target client audiences
• Effectively managing large amounts of data and using data management and CRM tools
• Attend networking and business development events

Candidates should possess the following:

• Entrepreneurial spirit and a positive mental attitude
• Passion to protect the environment and climate
• Ability to work in a start-up environment with limited supervision
• Interest and a good understanding of carbon and renewable energy voluntary markets
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency of MS Office Suite and experience of CRM tools like Salesforce.

Candidates must be self-driven, responsible, quick learners, and interested in the topic.

The minimum time requirement is ideally 20 hours per week. The intern is meant to be a 3 month term contract with the possibility of future employment. Intern will receive performance based incentives.
